Rock'n'Roll...

It has been more than a year since I last wrote something on a blog. I must admit that writing is a great way to express yourself and even relax...but I just didn't have enough time to think about writing something intelligent. And...what can be filled up with almost every kind of bullshit faster than a blog? Nothing I guess. That's why I'm happy about opening a new one.

I know nobody's gonna read what I'm writing...but I must start somehow. I'll have to introduce myself I guess...Well hello! My name is Giovanni, I'm a 17 year old student, and I live in Bologna, Italy. I'm actually studying at Liceo N. Copernico, where I'm attending a course which focuses mainly on physics, maths, IT and chemistry.
Hobbies? reading (mainly books about WWII, fantasy, and C.Palahniuk's)...watching films (I can't stand TV anymore...)...videogames (fps, rts, rpgs..sometimes mmorpgs)...and Music (and I'm writing it with a capital M 'cause I'm talking about Heavy Metal and good old hard rock classics!).

What I'm doing in these days? Studying a lot...really.
I've been watching "The thin red line" a few times in a row during the last week. If you've never watched it...well do it now. I find it to be somehow different from all the others WWII movies. The director, Malick, has made some very interesting choices.. (I particularly like the voice-over reflections).

I guess I should talk about something a bit unusual to make this more interesting..There is, actually, something I'm doing that only a few people would do willingly...
I'm building a foxhole near my countryside house! Why? I don't really know how to explain...but I guess it has something to do with what Denny does in Chuck Palahniuk's "Choke" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Palahniukchoke.jpg). Read it and you'll understand (and, perhaps, have a good laugh too!).

See ya!
